WHAT INFORMATION IS BEING COLLECTED AT WWW.BABYLONGOP.ORG?

The only personal information collected is information you give us. In an effort to grow our Republican grassroots community online, the Babylon Republican Committee may ask you to submit information. This information will be used to provide you with information about interesting events, local news, advocacy initiatives, talking points, and other Republican related information. You do not have to provide this information – we only ask that you do so that we can better communicate with you! Additionally, when you offer your personal information and/or choose to participate in our volunteer efforts, we use your information to personalize and customize web pages and emails from the Babylon Republican Committee to you. We’re thankful for your support, and we want to recognize you! Some information must be collected when you make a contribution. When you make contributions to the Babylon Republican Committee that aggregate to more than $100 in a single calendar year, state election law requires us to use our “best efforts” to collect your name, mailing address, employer, and occupation.

HOW IS THE INFORMATION COLLECTED AT WWW.BABYLONGOP.ORG USED?

We will not sell your personal information. Under no circumstances will the Babylon Republican Committee sell your information to third parties or any commercial entities. The Babylon Republican Committee may share information — that you voluntarily provide us — with like-minded organizations committed to the principles or candidates of the Babylon Republican Committee, Republican Party, New York State Republican Committee, and local Republican groups. We may provide your email address or other personal information to authorized third parties required to deliver a particular service. These third parties may not use said information for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for the Babylon Republican Committee.

All signups for email communications and other features of our website are voluntary. We give you the opportunity to opt-in and we give you the power to opt-out of email communications.
